Song Description

This is a blues song about one of the many women who, coming to Southern California for whatever reason, decides to earn her living dancing on a pole or some dude's lap.

Story Behind the Song

I saw a girl I knew in an old black car, and the story that followed had very little to do with her.

Lyrics

VERSE 1
Baby's dressed in black, she's got an old black car
She's going to Hollywood, she wants to be a star
If she knew where she was going, she might go very far
So what's she doing dancing in this nudie juice bar?

CHORUS
You better run away, you better run away
You'd better get yourself out of this here town
Before it brings you up, it's going to drag you down

VERSE 2
It was just about 10:30 when I walked in the place
I gave her twenty bucks to put her breasts in my face
For another dub, she's willing to keep up the pace
Got a feeling deep inside that my gland can't erase

(REPEAT CHORUS)

BRIDGE
She's somebody's sister, maybe somebody's mom
She says her name is Jasmine with a certain aplomb
When I think about her life, I start to fall
This is not what I paid for at all

VERSE 3
She's somewhat top heavy, but really quite thin
She's a mover, she's a grinder, got a fire within
Why does she waste it rubbing my schlong to her shin?
But if she is a sinner, then I'm half of the sin

(REPEAT CHORUS X 2)
