Story Behind The Song

I noticed animals in cages at animal care facilities. And it is extremely sad. God gave me the idea to write a song that would point out the need for us all to do more for his creatures.

Song Description

I have been writing songs for almost 50 years, mostly gospel music. Recently God gave me the title and the message to write a real love song for our animals. We wanted a song that would do a number of things: Let everyone know that animals want to be loved and will return that love many times over. Make sure people realize that cruelty to animals happens all too often. And lastly there is a lot each individual can do to provide a better life for our animals. . We hope you agree that Look in Their Eyes is one of the best songs ever written for the sole purpose of helping our animals. The soft, velvet voice of Robin Steward of Madison, AL, blended with the easy listening music track, carries what we feel to be a very important message to people of all ages. So please take time to listen to the song and as you do read the lyrics. This will insure You get the full impact of the message. The song is copyrighted and has been registered in my publishing account with BMI. So, if you think the song has a message worth air play we would appreciate any help you can give us. It is our hope that a non-profit animal care organization would want to use the song for advertising or to sell DVD's of their shelter with the song. We, as writer, publisher and artist do not want any royalties from these non-profit organizations. We will provide them with a written mechanical license agreement that allows them to use the song and the lyrics at no cost to them. In other words we want the song to be beneficial to the animal care organizations.
