Song Description

break-up.move away, new job...knowing you have to give yourself time to work things out before you can get back together with the one you love...

Story Behind the Song

I broke up with someone i loved very much and hitch hiked accross the country and ended up getting a job singing at a club in Baltimore for 13 weeks..needless to say, I missed this girl a lot and prompted me to write this song....

Lyrics

Woke up this morning it's anouther day..And I know inside me that i've got to stay...I've got to stay here and work it out...I've got to stay here and work it out, before I can go back home....My heart is breaking up inside And at time things aren't the they ought to be...But I've got to stay here and work it out..I've got to stay here and work it out...Before I can go back home....Oh . I've got a job to do here and I've got to fight the tears that can blind and make me lose my way...and I hope i'm not too late, but I know I've got weight, for the time when I can go back home...I fight the loneliness inside of me...cause the one love is so far from me...But I've got to stay here and work it out...I've got to stay here and work it out...Before I can go back home....Oh, I've got a job to do here but I've got to fight the tears that could blind and make me lose my way....And I know I've got to weight but I hope I'm not to late...for the time when I can go back home....I think the time is drawing near..Still the time when you can reappear...I've got to stay here and work it out,I really got to stay here and work it out..yes I do...Before I can go back home...Before I can go back home...Ya..I really want to go back ,go back home now..But I got to stay here, baby' yes I got to stay here...go back, go back home ,go back home,go back home...Fade Out........
