Story Behind The Song

This piece was inspired by a short indie film I was an actor in. The story was one of lost love between an American man and a Greek woman, the ocean between them.

Romantic and wistful Eastern European style melody for solo violin, orchestra, and plucked instruments. Ethnic flavor, big sound, cinematic. This song was submitted by NARAS as a first round contender for "Best Composition" in the 2006 Grammy Award Competition.
