I really like the way the melody develops which leads seamlessly to the compelling line.. 'Touch this heart of mine'. Great guitar playing and a strong, convincing vocal. The song has a lovely structure reminiscent of some of Joni Mitchell's work. (She's my favourite artist BTW).

I love the feel of this - has a touch of early Jimmy Buffet about it. And the little add-on 'Thank you!' at the end really made me smile. Great hook to me - and it'll stay with me for a while. Nice song, and joyfully played.

Lyrics

Heart of mine
We walk along towards bigger things
I will not fall or touch the ground
A race we run for everything
The finish line don't makes my heart pound

Everyday I reach for more
Troubled days I will ignore
to carry all my dreams today and touch this heart of mine

there is a plan to build upon
the hopeful see the hopeless flee
To breathe it in you must allow
Reject the past there's only now

Everyday I reach for more
Troubled days I will ignore
to carry all my dreams today and touch this heart of mine

The goal of every one should be
To seek the truth to look to see
Don't take the word of these little men
Shake it loose Set yourself free

Everyday I reach for more
Troubled days I will ignore
to carry all my dreams today and touch this heart of mine

Everyday I reach for more
Troubled days I will ignore
to carry all my dreams today and touch this heart of mine

to carry all my dreams today and touch this heart of mine

to carry all my dreams today and touch this heart of mine
