Story Behind The Song
My (Gary Hargens) mother passed away from brain cancer in 1999. I wrote this song for her as a way to deal with her loss. I wish I could have been there the morning she passed away and let her know that I loved her and she was the greatest mom a person could ever ask for and that it was ok to leave this world but I never got the chance so I wish I could see her just one more time.

Lyrics
Verse 1
You left this world way too soon and the pain was so great
I wish I could hold you just one more time
But God had other plans for you by his side
I guess that'll have to be all right
The times we shared live on in my mind
I wish I could hold you just one more time
CHORUS:
Just one more time, to tell you that I love you
Just one more time to show you that I care
Verse 2
Life goes on, yes it's true, but it's not the same without you
We shared so much in the time we had
You're missed by your friends and by your family
But no one here misses you, quite as much as me
I know in time that I'll be ok
but for now I wish you were here just one more day
REPEAT CHORUS
Repeat 2nd verse and end with "quite as much as me"
