Song Description
FLYING SAUCER
It came into my bedroom, this creature of the night!
Like a zombie, it came steeling, came steeling into sight:
My mind was racing madly as my fingers clutched the bed.
I pondered with the question, ?Is it live or something dead??
(Below is ?skip forward? in lyric)
Then I peered outside my window
And beheld an eerie sight;
Was it a ?flying saucer??
All bathed in glowing light?

?Flying saucer?
Music & Poem by Frank McNulty
Music:
(Mood is Dark, Foreboding, and Ominous!
But Melodic)
Recitation:
It came into my Bedroom,
This creature of the night;
Like a zombie, it came steeling,
Came stealing into sight!
My mind was racing madly,
As my fingers clutched the bed;
I pondered with the question,
Is it real, or is it dead?
I tried my best to scream out,
But uttered not a sound;
The muscles in my body
Were tightly, tightly wound!
Then I peered outside my window
And beheld an eerie sight;
Was it a ?flying saucer??
All bathed in glowing light?
Upon the roof a sound was heard,
A clinking, clanking clunk!
And I shivered in the darkness,
I knew that I was sunk!
Then suddenly my mind went numb,
My shattered nerves were shot!
My brain was taken over,
Was this a dream, or what?
It was no dream and so it seems
My future had begun;
The image that I saw of them
Was me? and I was one!
Farwell, adieu, my lovely ones,
We may never meet again!
My world outside exists no more,
My life has now begun!
