Story Behind The Song
My idea behind some samples which I shared with Tim from Quirk (English trance duo, Tim Healey and Mark Allen) which they used on their first album, Machina Electrica Fornax Chemica...for a track called Lofi Scifi. I was struck by the way they used the samples I gave them...that is, not at all the way I had imagined, and so I told myself, that once my studio manifested, I would make my track, using those same samples to convey the idea that made me collect them in the first place.
The title refers to late Terence McKenna's theory of mushrooms, fallen from space, being the missing link factor in humankinds ¨evolution¨.
Song Description
Sci Fi inspired Dance Funk with programmed live drums and 50's lo fi production techniques, grounding an otherwise really flipped out mushroom story.
