Story Behind The Song
Are there really aliens in outer space? Do you think we might meet? Do you think they are friendly? Those thoughts got me thinking!
Song Description
I wanted to write a song about aliens for young children that would spark their imaginations and make them think that aliens are not necessarily mean. This is a high-energy dance song that anyone can dance with. The refrain "Widgy-Wodgy" will stick in your head forever!

Lyrics
GALACTIC HOP BOP!
There's four little aliens--
Flying all around.
Zipping through the universe,
Never can be found!
They're soaring through the Milky Way,
Roaring past the Sun,
Those four little aliens
Are always on the run!
Zooming all around,
The space ship seems to hop,
'Cause the aliens are dancing
The Galactic Hop Bop!!!
Widgy-Wodgy, Woodge-Wodgy
Widgy-Wodgy, Woodge-Wodgy
Woodgy-Widgy, Woodgy-Widgy
A bop-bop, de-bop,bop, de-bop, de-bop, bop!
They're spinning 'round Saturn
Sliding down its' rings!
They're blowing through Neptune,
It's fun to have a fling!
Dodging 'round asteroids
It's one exciting strip!
Now buzzing through outer space
A real thrilling trip!
Catch 'em playing with the planets
Bumping off the moon!
Streaking through the stars
Singing this whole tune!
(REFRAIN)
There's Tweezer, he's skinny,
Loves to goof around!
There's Beezer, he's funny,
Likes dancing up and down!
There's Snooze, he's sleepy,
Always want a nap.
There's Lop, he's the pilot
Real good with a map!
Those four little aliens,
Having lots of fun--
They're bopping through outer space
Jiving by when day is done!
