Story Behind The Song

"Election Day" was created as a result of the aniticipation of the 2004 national elections, and it was meant to communicate the anxiety, fear and cynicism many felt towards the process. This was aired on Pacifica Radio's "Democracy Now," a nationally syndicated television/radio program on Nov. 2, Election Day, while the program provided coverage of the day's poll results.
