Divine Intervention

Story Behind The Song

Son of a preacher man's first steps into a spiritual life & religious rhymes. many inspirations... the book "Celestine Prophecy" by James Redfield which sparked my enthusiam for mysteries of the spiritual kind; a devout fan who wrote a rhyme for my old band; my father, the ex-Catholic priest who i owe my life to. Acknowledging a higher power. Pondering strange coincidences, deja vu, dreams into reality, the holy spark inside yourself. Beginning to "preach" about open mindedness, the right path, peace, love, serving others, etc.

Lyrics

I?m a scientist? I have to be methodical
I finally noticed logic in theological
Explainable unattainable forces are responsible
Hear ye? severely cynical merely see it?s possible
-
Did you ever have dreams come true? You know they do
it remains fake until it happens to you
Did you ever feel deja vous? ?You feel it too
You wont miss it don?t dismiss it, just let it
-
Continue, it?s in you, win and be the VICTOR
Predict almighty ability and possibility
Possible turns to probable; precedent is elsewhere
Provided is proof, do I dare go there?
-
Witness it myself, with my own eyes
Won?t walk through life in a disguise, I realize
I?m forged from divinity sewn into me like a fabric
Enamored by the erratic and enigmatic
____________________
Guaranteed we we?re gonna break tradition?
going on a musical expedition up to the mission?
Glish wrote a rhyme for the band, kinda clever
Let him get on the mic he?s like, ?GREENSCENE 4-EVER!?
-
E ?knocks you down with verbal fightin,?
Writin?s my thing I never take a violent swing
If these are fightin words then you best get in the ring
?Until you see this is a family fling
-
We?re all in this together, all on one tag-team
our nemesis hasn?t seen what we?ve seen
With love sharpened swords we charge with a scream?
??aaaahhhh??? What a dangerous dream?
-
What does it take to make it reality?
Watch what happens when I?m charged, like a battery
With electricity, not alkalinity but knowledge
You pay only homage for what you learn in my college
-
We commence it... graduates stand be recognized
Stand tall don?t let your ego be oversized
Rise to the occasion, now you?re energized
Eyes on the nation with a wise inspiration
-
My father, the purest man I?ve ever known
Did everything honestly still ended up alone
Dedicated his life to talking in a certain tone
When he elaborates, I listen and it hits home
-
So I?m the son of a preacher man
Telling it like it is like a teacher can
Difficult to comprehend simplicity at first
Curiosity as opposed to being coerced
-
Turn motors in your own mind and you find
A definition of yourself or direction of some kind
Marinate on the meaning of the sermon
be about casting out evil vermin
-
Internally now I can truly love my brothers
my sisters, my mother, and every other
50-cent vocabulary I carry very often
I hope it?ll profit before I hop into the coffin
-
Forget the money throw it away
Learn to serve each other, Lord I can see the day,
that?s why we got to pray
and there is no wrong way
Find divine intervention, I?m clenching it every day

Divine intervention, I?m clenching it every day

Find divine intervention?

Do do do do do do do?
