Lyrics
The Daisies
***So I hear that in New York today they took a few thousand lives away * The flower child says she can love it away * What would she say if it was her own baby that got ? blown away? * Would she suddenly say retaliate? * And down go ? the daisies (4X) * A daddy calls just before it goes down * He says, ?I love you and I can?t get out. I don?t think I?ll make it out of this. Promise me you?ll give the kids a kiss?, and then ? silence * (Chorus) * Put another flower in my gun * Let?s see how flowers fight against the bombs * (Chorus) * Mr. Rockwell paint a picture for me * Remind us how we used to be ? ?cause? (Chorus)?
