Save the Dinosaurs

Story Behind The Song

The lyrics to this song arose out of a feeling. This probably seems silly, but one day I just couldn't stop thinking someday we will be just like the dinosaurs and some new dominant species will dig up our bones and put us in museums. Anyways this song was the biproduct of my frustration over this idea.

Lyrics

Hold your tongue and walk your circles
I can see you like an angry turtle
would you eat snow, don't go, dream forever
would you rather hide than face the weather
there's a storm to come, of that I'm certain
cuz my heart is numb and my eyes are burnin'
but the sky is not as cold as the wait is
when the poison drops you down to the pavement
don't go

There ain't nothin' goin' on here
There ain't nothin' goin' on here
There ain't nothin' goin' on here
There ain't nothin' goin' on here
There ain't nothin' goin' on here
There ain't nothin' goin' on here
There ain't nothin' goin' on here
There ain't nothin' goin' on here

And who are you to rain on this day
and who are you to say it's all ok
it's ok
it's ok
it's ok
it's ok
it's ok
it's ok
