Story Behind The Song
This is the only song on the album that's not 'fun'. This is my first shot at a country sound and it's dedicated to all the kids that have lost their fathers to the child custody industry. Think about these kids when you get a chance. (Yes, this song is personal.)

Lyrics
She poured tea for daddy
Daddy poured for dolly
While dolly sat and smiled in her chair
She remembered all the laughin'
And the fun that they were having,
But she must not have been there
Cause she remembers all that she can
But memories fade and disappear
Cause her mama made it clear
That her daddy was a dangerous man
There were story books on a teddy bear lap
Loving looks and the teddy bear wrapped
His arms around her
A sweet caress to snuggle in
He pulled her blankie to her chin
And drew the moonlight in to surround her
She remembers all that she can
But love can fade and disappear
Cause her gramma made it clear
That her daddy was a dangerous man
(Instrumental)
Driving home, they giggled so
playing with the radio
While she tried to match his baritone
But his truck stopped pulling up one day
And daddy's voice just went away
Although she waited days beside the phone
She remembers all that she can
But papa fades and disappears
Cause the judge had made it clear
That her daddy was a dangerous man
(Instrumental)
She met him on the street. She'd just turned 22 that day
Her heart was a question mark. He couldn't find a word to say.
She thought she recognized a look, familiar, like a favorite book
Just as she turned to walk away
She remembers all that she can
But memories fade and disappear
Cause they'd all made it clear
That her daddy was a dangerous man
Yes her daddy was a dangerous man
