Story Behind The Song

I wanted to create a swagger song. A song which would sound great over a slow motion walking scene in a programme or movie, either intentionally or ironically.

Song Description

This is my version of a swagger song. It is a hard rock/ heavy rock song with a brass section. It's an 80 bpm swagger song. The decision on the tempo was because I thought that would be a good tempo to suit slow motion walking in a scene. I also wanted a vocal that would have presence and stand out in a powerful way. The subject matter of the song is over the top and tongue in cheek. The boastfullness of the lyric escalates to such an extent that the person singing (our overman not quite speaking the lingo of Zarathustra!) must eventually quote William Blake's celebrated poem, The Tyger, which describes something at once beautiful and terrifying, but not comparing themself to the tiger but to the creator of the tiger, how awesome and fearful must that being be and that they are of course on a par with that being. I might have gone nuclear! But I was going for the ultimate swagger song.
