DEAN GORDON
SMALL SHOE SIZES
1st verse
Small shoe sizes hanging from the swings
Is where we all start our life long dreams
At park age you have no troubles and all is fine
And your thoughts and wonders all break the skyline
2nd verse
Growing up will never ever last
And the faster it happens you sink in the past
As you become wiser and adapt with time
You slowly see yourself in the life long rhyme
3rd verse
You think you know now where you stand in life
Seeing your face framed on your children and wife
Live your life alongside death and crime
Earn your place in the pages of time
BRIDGE
Pay for a long sunny holiday
Just for the sake of getting away
Have your weekend?s hobbies and rides
Doing your best to live with some pride
CHORUS
This may not be the path you wanted to follow
But you just keep on chewing so that you can swallow
Now a big part of your life has gone
Seventy years don?t last that long
You?re children start where you left and your wife has gone
You sit and wonder if you chose the proper right and wrong
4th verse
And now you feel your drifting away very slowly
You wouldn?t fear death if you weren?t so lonely
Large shoe sizes hanging from the beams
This is we all end our life long dreams?
?our dreams
