Song Description
I napped one afternoon in the warm upstairs bedroom in my San Diego house in Kensington, When I awoke, I picked up my guitar and wrote "Nashville Remember Me". I recorded this demo in the downstairs bedroom, on my four track tape recorder one morning around 4am. I played my acoustic Sho-Bud and round-neck Sho-Bro.

Lyrics
Her city lights shine like no other
Enticing souls like moths to a flame
Hopeful hearts call on her like a lover
Dreaming they?ll unveil the secrets of her lover?s game
Chorus
Please have mercy
Listen with compassion to my plea
Open your arms and draw me close to you
Oh please, Nashville, remember me.
Voices of the past echo from her graves
Through the Alley and down her hallowed halls
New voices serenade her with their praise
Hoping to find their place among her crowded walls.
(chorus)
Bridge
Enchanting sirens with their melodies
Harmonize with the wind, oh, I swear they?re calling me.
Her lullabies carry through my windows
Across the miles, no matter where I roam
Sure as the sun shines in California
I?ll be following those sweet sounds home
(Chorus)
