Story Behind The Song

An incredible experience which came true with a (female) acquaintance who I knew was getting verbally abused and emotionally-neglected. We always knew that if we got together, the passion would be incredible, but we never forced it because of her relationship. She finally succumbed for what was an amazing experience. You can see what I wrote to her in the lyrics. The bridge tells her that she's not going to get what she needs at home (emotionally) and promises that there is someone out there (waiting) who will treat her like every woman dreams.

Song Description

A song about an incredibly-serene affair between two people of long-time attraction; occuring after years of having the committed person yearning for his/her spouse to say "I love you" and it not happening. The songwriter/person in the story is "waiting" with the promise of ultimate devotion.
