Story Behind The Song
Get out your platform shoes and flared trousers.for a bit of glam rock :) the songs about one of those guitar heroes from a 1970's rock band.
A friend and fellow Broadjam member of mine, Alan Gillis, sent me some lyrics for a song he thought of 30 years ago. He asked if i had any ideas for it. So going by the title i wanted to do it as a 70's glam rock kind of song.
I asked Keith Allen to help and between us we changed some lyrics..i wrote the music..Keith did the vocals and bass, i did the rest. We hope you like it. (Thanks Alan for giving us the idea.)

Lyrics
Verse 1
The light cuts though the steaming air
Picks out the giant standing there
His axe is gleaming in his hand
The crowd is screaming, for the band
He strikes a chord that splits the night
The figure curls up good and tight
Then springs the panther to his feet
Feel his heat... feel his heat
CHORUS
He's a rock and roller - A super hero to his fans
He's a rock and roller - Don't believe he's twice their age
He's the rock and roller - They're in his hands and he won't let go
He's the rock and roller - He's... A... Rock and Roller!
Verse 2
He worked so hard just to make his mark
The nights were long and days were dark
He's on the stage where the fever grows
His fans reach out just to touch his clothes
They think they got a second glance, but he..
Flashes a smile and takes the chance...to..
Make sweet music on his strings
His fingers dance...and his fans all sing ... Sing it!!!!
(REPEAT CHORUS)
(INST)
Rocky, Rocky, Rocky...Rolly, Rolly, Rolly (x2)
He's the rock and roller ..............
