Story Behind The Song
Started in 1979, it took the passing of my Mother to finish the song beyond its first two lines and chorus. She had a stroke on easter sunday, 2009. Because of her condition and living will, the doctors could do no more. She came back to the house where she raised five children, and I cared for her as we shared her final days of life. My Mother passed on her brother's birthday, less than two weeks from coming back to her house to rest.
