Story Behind The Song
Seattle Danny tells the story of a young soldier from Fort Lewis who was KIA by an IAD (roadside mine), and the story of an Iraqi child (Abdullah - Abdi) who another young soldier found clinging to the dead body of his father (Abba) and crying hysterically, and who appeared to have gone insane having apparently witnessed his entire Iraqi Christian family killed by American fire during the Shock And Awe phase of the American invasion of Iraq.
Song Description
The events in Iraq have resulted in both visible and invisible injuries from which the victims (on both sides) will never recover.

Lyrics
Dusty' gone in his daddy's car, to sign to the long gray line
never thought he'd be one of those, done by a fatal roadside mine
He's going gone gone gone
Abdi clings to his Abba's neck, little fist grab the lifeless head
The silence scream coming from his lips, tells of a hurt so deep even the sound is dead
He's going gone gone gone.
And he's never coming back!
Never Coming Back
Dusty's gone in his daddy's car, to sign to the long gray line
where'd he go-oh-oh-oh, gone from a fatal roadside mine
He's going gone gone gone,
And he's never Coming Back!
Never Coming Back
Abdi clings to his Abbas head, Little fists grip the lifeless head
The silent scream coming from his lips
The silent scream coming from his lips
Ahhhhhhh (a real scream), Never Coming Back
Never Coming Back
