CyFi & Lickdisco - Vermillion.
My hometown is Vermillion, Minnesota, so I felt like producing a tribute song to it..my new friend John (Lickdisco) and I sent this project file back and forth a few times and came up with this!
Song Description
Heavily inspired by Pretty Lights and Owl City, this song is meant to unlock the childhood memories we all have. With warm pads and soft angelic leads accompanied by a mellow hip-hop beat and soul-filled vocal samples, "Vermillion" is a prime example of the chillwave genre.
