Story Behind The Song
First written for a sort of 'gameshow of the future' piece in a film, Schrodinger's Cat Paradox, came about when cjacks attempted to produce something that would relate the way he felt. His thinking and mood were in an odd place at the time, and he did his best to reflect this. After that, he just imagined riding a roller coaster or maybe the 'zipper' while listening to Schrodinger's Cat Paradox.
Song Description
Schrodinger's Cat Paradox (aka 'Jiffypop'), is something of a roller coaster ride through space. The intro is a grabber with 'in your face' electric guitars. After that come the 'electric xylophones' that have been run through Marshal stacks for that, you know--typical distorted xylophone sound. Then come the Star Trek singers with a quasi choir thing that is meant to sound like a carnival ride gone wrong--or right, it all depends on your love of wild rides.
Three drum sets, each with a distinctive sound give this song it's combo electronic, space jazz, and rock feel.
Meant to be listened to as loudly as possible, Schrodinger's Cat Paradox, tries to explain with sound, whatever it was that Schrodinger was trying to explain with Quantum Mechanics.
