Song Description

This song is about a woman trying to get her girlfriend to have sex with her even though it's going to make her late for work. It's slow, lots of subtle piano parts, romantic and soft.

Story Behind the Song

I saw this girl at a cafe once, I thought she was beautiful and she didn't look like she wanted to be at work. I wrote this song for her.

Lyrics

We can make this morning
Anything we want it to be.
And take this bedroom on
Let the rest play out accordingly.

I love the way you want it
You were built for me.
Don't despair I'm on it
There's no part of you these hands won't see.

You are in my eyes now
I own your bed.
There's nothing you want to do about it.
The worst won't happen don't you know I'd never let it.
And I've got your body if you've got mine.
I spoke with time and it's alright
If you arrive late covered in me.

We can make this morning
Anything we want it to be.
And take this bedroom on
Let the rest play out accordingly.

You are in my eyes now
I own your bed.
There's nothing you want to do about it.
The worst won't happen don't you know I'd never let it.
And I've got your body if you've got mine.
I spoke with time and it's alright
If you arrive late covered in me.

Covered In me...covered in me...covered in me...
