Story Behind The Song
I wrote this song in 2010 for Grammy-winner J. Aaron Brown, who is a colleague of a Nashville musician, Curtis Lee Conroy. Curtis has a music business on Music Row, and was a former bandmate of my cousin's brother-in-law, Marcos Casiano. Curtis suggested that I contact Aaron Brown to see if he was interested in publishing any of my original musical compositions.
After finding out that Aaron won a Grammy Award for a compilation album of lullabies, I decided to write a special lullaby to send to Aaron, and Brand New Day was born! I sent Brand New Day to Aaron, and he sent me a note saying that he loved it!
Song Description
It is a beautiful lullaby with a positive message.

Lyrics
Brand New Day Lyrics
1. Outside Mr. Sun is setting, he's going to bed,
Doggies and kitties all are sleeping,
they must lay down their heads.
Tomorrow is a Brand New Day!
Instrumental Interlude
2. Next door your sister's sleeping,
she's had an exciting day!
But she knows that she must rest
so that she'll be set to play!
Tomorrow is a Brand New Day!
Instrumental Interlude
3. So close your eyes our precious angel,
we'll sing you to sleep,
Always know your parents love you,
you are ours to keep.
Tomorrow is a Brand New Day!
Ending: We'll play and play, play all day,
It's a Brand New Day!
