Song Description

Discovering that the one you needed and wanted was in front of you all the time. Holding your hand through all of your crap and never giving up on you. In spite of where you took your love, they were there all the time waiting for you to come around.

Story Behind the Song

Written for a movie called A Little Inside but it didnt make the film

I thought the way I planned it
Was the way it all it should be
And the things that I've been working for
Didn't pan out like I dreamed

So I'm feeling like I'm beaten down
And I've got no place to go
And the hand that held on to my heart
Has suddenly let go

All the time
You were mine
Why was I so blind?
You were there....there
All the time

So I thought I'd find the answers
Round the corners that I turned
But the farther that I got away
The less I seemed to learn

Now all my strength has given way
As I sit her by the phone
I'm missing you so bad it hurts
I'm way too far from home
