Story Behind The Song
The story was actually inspired while watching Barrack Obama run for President in 2008. In the mist of a heated political battle with his opponent, Obama was witnessed converting his thoughts and energy from the heated campaign his was caught up in, to the one thing that mattered to him the most. Though probably tired from working most of the previous night and existing day, America witnessed Barrack Obama suddenly shifting his focus to the one person who loved him so, Michele. While reporters peeked annoyingly through close-net windows and bars, Barrack Obama, was seen taking his lovely wife to her favorite restaurant, and as gentleman would, provided her with a romantic evening of dinner for two and a cheek to cheek dancing.
Song Description
The story begins with the talented vocalists; Deejha Marie playing the part of a girl from the hood. Deejha is heard on the phone with her friend declining a night out with the girls. Shielding her man, she brags, "Ain't no special occasion, My baby said he love's me and taking me out on the avenue!" On her way to the beauty shop, the catch phrase recites "Pedicure, Manicure, Hair-a-good Tonight, Me and My Baby Going Out."
