Story Behind The Song
The words of Ram Dass have rung in my ears for many years "Be Here Now". I heard those words echoing as I wrote this song. Be in the moment.. whenever the time is now one is in the moment.. From my spirit studies with Toltec master shaman don Miguel Ruiz, this song poured forth from the realization that the "maya" (the illusion) of the world infront of our eyes, is a dream we are dreaming - like a movie. We are the central character who by insisting on things being as they are exists eternally in the present moment - content, happy and free. Whenever the Time is now is another way to say Be Here Now.
Song Description
We are told that on a spirit level everything is as it should be, that everything happens as it is supposed to. Sometimes this is hard to accept, espcially when we receive things we don't like. Yet there is wisdom in apporaching the moment as if it is perfect, allowing ourselves to be fully present, resisting nothing, accepting everything.
