Angel's Eyes (The Christmas Song)

A little girl walked up to Santa Clause and a sad look filled her eyes
as she climbed onto his lap the little girl began to cry
Ho, Ho, Ho, Merry Christmas, what can Santa bring you this year?
I don't think Santa was prepaired for the words he was gonna hear

Momma went to live in heaven when I was only three
and that was two years ago this coming Christmas Eve
We still have her presents under our Christmas tree
Santa, I miss my momma, would you bring her back to me?

Santa searched his mind for something to say, but no words could come to this man
so the little girl climbed out of his lap, she said I know, I understand
a hush fell over the entire crowd as the little girl walked away
Santa smiled, stood up, said little girl wait, please, I've made a mistake
He raised his bright red arms up high and took something from the top of his tree
He wrapped it in his handkerchief then he dropped down on his knees
He said, you take this home, but don't thank me
Because this angel belongs to you
Put it on top of your Christmas Tree, every Christmas Eve
From now on, on all your Christmas's you will never have to cry
Cause now your momma can see you from heaven through these angel's eyes

Momma went to live in heaven when I was only three
and that was two years ago this coming Christmas Eve
We still have her presents, under our Christmas Tree
Santa I miss my momma would you bring her back to me?

Mommma went to live in heaven when I was only three
and that was twenty years ago this coming Chirstmas Eve
We still put her presents under our Christmas Tree
Merry Christmas Santa, you brought my momma back to me

Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells , Jingle all the way...
