The day in the life of a salesman

He starts his day, he makes his plan, he's just the average salesman
he hopes his client will be home when he calls them on the phone
If he gives a time and turns up late, and let a hour pass it'll seal his fate
he's managers words won't be so great, when he sees him again
So he knocks on the door right on time, but the customer gives a negative sign
he has to convince then it's worth there time, before he walks through the door
He sits them down and starts his speel, one step closer to another deal
his family will eat another meal, if he signs them up today.
He's just the average salesman, this job brings in his pay
under pressure all the way, surviving every day.

His presentation flows so well, but the customer goes into their shell
he has to dig them out of a deep well, before he can start to close.
Just when he thinks that he's got them sold, he then tries something really bold.
The customers welcome then goes cold, he's on the ropes again.
But there's a hidden objection to be found, once uncovered he's safe and sound.
But he really has to learn his stuff, this game ladies and gents is really tough.
O.K you start your new sales job, and you do well for the first 6 or 12 months, so you think it's easy,and the stress will take it's toll and if you dont know how to handle it, then you'll end up leaving selling, what you dont think so.
