Song Description

Only You is a love song MB wrote for his wife Jude. We love the line, " Our love is psychedelic / A drug that keeps us sane ". The song was inspired by love and traditional Persian music. Most traditional Persian music is played in a special 6/8 meter. We find it very exciting and danceable. We enhanced that Persian rhythm by using the zarb (the traditional Persian drum) and weaving the melody around it. This combination fueled by a modern western pop groove gives us our unique Worldly feel. Synthesizers, bass guitar, oud, (the Middle Eastern lute), guitars and percussion work will with the Persian groove. A killer guitar solo emotes the perfect emotion for this song and the chorus says it well: " When I dream --- I dream of only you In my dreams there's no one else but you And when I wake I see my dreams come true Only You "

Lyrics

You can make my world
The place I wanna be
Only you can show me
And finally make me see
The reason that I've been here - the things that I must do
I close my eyes and see us in veils of aqua blue
One day or 1000 all lead me to --- Only You

Let me feel your passion
Let me ease your pain
Our love is psychedelic
A drug that keeps us sane
I find myself restless and longing to sleep
My feelings seed the music with words I hold so deep
One day or 1000 all lead me to -- Only You

Chorus
When I dream --- I dream of only you
In my dreams there's no one else but you
And when I wake I see my dreams come true
Only You

Chorus
When I dream --- I dream of only you
In my dreams there's no one else but you
And when I wake I see my dreams come true
Only You / Only You / Only You
Only You.......

You can make my world
The place I wanna be
