Story Behind The Song
I wrote this song as an ode of sorts to my own wife. With our toddler, a baby on the way, work from home, and the pandemic, it's been a crazy year and date-nights have been few and far between. This is my promise to get back to us as the holiday season approaches.

"Miss Us" is a begging-pleading R&B track about wanting to get back to love this Christmas, following a crazy year. It says, "Wanna wish you a Merry Christmas. Wanna say that I really miss us." The singer is begging for another chance to make things right after a hectic year of forgetfulness and neglect. It climaxes at the bridge, "Come on under this mistletoe and get the love you should be shown."
