Story Behind The Song
I'm surrounded by a great deal of cynical,
backstabbing individuals. Writing this song was the healthiest and most productive way I could react to the negativity I am exposed to on a daily basis.
Song Description
The world could potentially improve if we could treat our fellow human beings with the God-given humanity in which we are all entitled.

Lyrics
These days, love seems like an act of rebellion
?it's too easy to be cynical if we ever reach the pinnacle
of these self destructive ways, how could we find grace???
Tomorrow can be more than just another day
?Where communion is the status quo,? and evil has no chance to grow
?in the heart of the Universe, ?light will disperse??
If you ever have the ear of the world?
say something beautiful, say something new?
If you ever have the ear of the world?
say something powerful,
righteous and true
??Salvation, is merely a conscious choice we make?
if we change our minds we change behavior?
our words bring out the hidden savior?
from the heart of the Universe?
fear will reverse?
?
If you ever have the ear of the world?
say something beautiful,
say something new
?If you ever have the ear of the world?
say something powerful, righteous and true??
Hey-I don't think it's preachy or pious
?running something hopeful and illuminated by us
?for we are home (in the heart of the universe)?
Hey-maybe I'm a faded Pollyanna?
(cause) I just want our whole world to sigh a "hosanna"?
for we are one (with the heart of the universe)??
If you ever have the ear of the world?
say something beautiful,
say something new?
If you ever have the ear of the world?
say something powerful, righteous
and true
??these days....??
