Story Behind The Song
We have witnessed this cycle by living in just such a place! The song was just bearing witness to this reality. It was created on the guitar. Off of the concept album: GUAPOLINDA.
Song Description
The tourist industry is one of the largest businesses in the world. Small, hidden locales become exposed or promoted with little forethought regarding environmental or social impact. These paradise locations are exploited and overwhelmed by the global tourist industry. In general: hidden paradise locations are under-developed and pristine, ripe pickings for the global tourist industry. This leaves overwhelming infrastructure challenges and social headaches.

Lyrics
MAGAZINE PARADISE
It?s a magazine paradise, fine
brochures make it right
Swaying palms on warm soft sand
it?s to remember when it began
CHORUS: Pretend ? The end ? Begin
It?s a magazine paradise,
fine brochures make it right
People?s dreams become fulfilled,
at least in their minds, it seems real
CHORUS
It?s a magazine paradise,
should be at least twice the price!
Forests cut and their culture too
how would you like that done
to me or you?
CHORUS
It?s a magazine paradise,
should be at least twice the price!
Forests cut and their culture too
how would you like that done
to me or you?
