Story Behind The Song
Me and my X-Girlfriend were breaking up, in some seriously Bad Times, I grew up remebering my mother collected old pictures of 17th, 18th century ships and light house pictures, just a reflection of the past to the future... Being with my X I knew it wasnt going to be long before it was over, hense, "I have been dead a Hundred Years". The Lyrics were true to the Nature of my Mood and the sadness of Losing a Loved one... Would make a pretty cool Movie Sound Track I guess.

[NEW VERSION] Cleaned up and enhanced..Ahoy Maties...First Of ALL I dedicate this song to My Mother! More effects than[Even though They are Revised now with the comments made by listeners] music blended with my Fender Strat & my vocals and then it was rendered with sonic foundry Sound Forge Pro 6 for some extra effects... A Very nice compilation in my opinion! My Best one yet, makes you feel like your on the voyage itself, but of course I wouldnt want to be this guy! :)

Lyrics
GHOST SHIP
I have lost my way, through the deep blue seas,
the storm hasn't let up for days & days
the water is cold and grey the salty air burns my eyes
I hope to find some land between the seas and stormy skies
I have plot my course, through the raging seas of time
no way to navigate, all ships hands have lost their lives,
off alone I sail Blind, to nowhere at all...
Am I slipping away, Through a merciless raging storm?
My last ending log, in a bottle at sea somewhere
Hoping someone will find, my last words and rights
Now I realize, something is so wrong,
there doesnt seem to be no end to this wretched storm
I have since passed away, Looking for a break in the clouds
the sun will shine again, a light unto the fog
At last I know its real, the hatch opens to reveal
Im no longer chained to this sunken ship no more
I have a hundred years, since I have been gone
Leagues and leagues Deep beneath the ocean and the sun
I have awake A ghost, traverse the seas of time
I will never see a lighthouse by the coast.
