Story Behind The Song
I wanted to write a song to walk down the isle to, and I don't write happy songs often but it turned out to be warm, touching and honest without being cheesy or cliche.
Hearing it at our wedding was a very special moment for us and the guests, who were genuinely touched.
Song Description
The song describes why I was happy to marry my husband in a simple, non cliche way.

Lyrics
I'm glad that it's you
That smiled at me in the hall
x2
Don't be scared
It will be fine
I've got your hand
And you've got mine
I'm glad that it's you
That smiled at me in the hall
I'm glad that it's you
That stays when everyone's gone
x2
Don't be scared
You're not alone
I'll be there
When you come home
I'm glad that it's you
That stays when everyone's gone
I'm glad that it's you
That I tie myself to
x2
Don't be scared
It will be fine
I've got your hand
And you've got mine
I'm glad that it's you
That I tie myself to
