robot sheriff (sick of his meager government salary) sells his robot soul to have a hit robot song on the robot charts. robot devil uses that song to rally humans to rise up and take back control of the earth and brutally enslave the robot race in servitude to their human creators.

The only hope left for the robots is an ancient young robot named Navona Crept. Navona is the only remaining "Augean-lo" model robot left in existence. He was exiled by the robots to the great northern wastelands for introducing ideas that the grand ruling council of robots deemed too "radical."

Navona lives in seclusion, disconnected from the grand consciousness with only a compliment of 3 human slaves and an army of super-intelligent kittens to do his bidding.
