I have seen and experienced a lot of negativity among people who do not like to see others succeed, but I have not let these people deter me from pursuing my dreams. I have realized that people will always try to put you down and will always try to find something negative to talk about, but if you believe in yourself, never give up, and surround yourself with people who support you, you will succeed and you will achieve your dreams.

"Reach For The High" is a song about overcoming obstacles. It descibes people who bully and put others down, and then during the hook states that it doesn't matter what people say as long as you believe in yourself and "Reach For The High." It is an inspirational song that says you can succeed despite negativity.
