Story Behind The Song

This was written as lyrics and a melody in my head during tears I cried after watching Schindler's List on TV for the first time. After trying to rock it out like Judas Priest and acoustic it up like Woody Guthrie, we finally developed a production that feels right.

Song Description

The song flashes back to the Civil War, WWII, and the Vietnam War and points to the atrocities power and money encourage with the use of racism and sexism.
