Song Description

Wonder is a slower paced song that combines lyrics with strong emotions. Its meaning is about having the strength to be yourself and move on, even when times are hard and you have been hurt.

Story Behind the Song

In many of the times that I have been hurt in my life, I have looked back and felt foolish for even being in those situations. However, we can't take back time, but only learn from our experiences and find that inner strength that keeps us moving on. This song generalizes all the times when I have been hurt or let down by someone and it makes me question humanity. As time passes, however, I am able to find myself again and see how strong I can truly be.

Lyrics

I'm sick of these battles
I always get sucked in
And why do the good ones
Always get hurt

And I'm not perfect, no
But I have my heart
And all good hearts
Get stepped on

And I wonder, who is real
I wonder, why I feel
So damn foolish for playing your games
I wonder, I wonder yeah

I'm no one's temporary
I do not pass your time
I have life within me
And I let it shine

And I wonder, who is real
I wonder, why I feel
So damn foolish for playing your games
I wonder, I wonder yeah

My heart singing through me
I let my feelings show
Emotions run right through me
My words, I let them flow
