Written for a college professor's super cute 5 year old daughter while I was in a poetry class focused on imagery poems.

A song about the dreamtime adventure of Emily, age 5.

Emily, Emily, sitting up in a big oak tree
When the tree starts to pitch and sway
she caught a cloud and flew away

She climbed right up atop the cloud
and sang and danced an laughed aloud
there she met a silver bird
who sang to her the most beautiful word of

So they flew down to the land
and built a palace in the sand
on the shore of a magic lake
and there they lived on tea and cakes

From the lake rose a wrinkled man
who held a white lily in his hand
he dropped the flower at her feet
and turned into a seal so sweet for

She climbed right up behind his ears
and kissed away his salty tears
then they dove beneath the waves
to the deep green forest where the fishes graze

They swan until they found a hole
where only the bravest fish would go
