Story Behind The Song
There isn't a specific story behind this song, rather just a collection of emotions and feelings which collided during the writing process, I try not to be overly conscious when writing a song based on imagery, I try to let the images write the song themselves whilst also portraying thoughts ideas and emotions I have during the writing process.
Song Description
This song is intentionally powerful and moving. The subject matter of the song ranges from heartbreak to frustration with injustice in the world (i.e. the envious ruthless bad guy coming out on top over the talented but honest guy). I tried to use animal imagery in the song to capture a gothic feeling and had the image of a crow flying into a full moon from a dark forest with thunder and lightning in the background. I wanted to merge all of these sensorial images and ideas I had in the process of writing the song.

Lyrics
Verse 1:
Black Feather flying in the wind with eyes so dark only he must win, up in the clouds at night lies a monopoly of sin, he's watching waiting to be king.
Of his mind I have a birdseye view..he'll keep on flying with his envy so true....
Chorus 1:
Beautiful Crow you're goin to fly away from here, Beautiful Crow you're goin to fly away from here to the never ever land to the never ever land........
Bridge:
You prosper in the wind but you're gone with the rain and you're perfect for sin but you're all the same and I've seen you before just a different day, you keep knockin my door you won't go away!!
Chorus 2:
Beautiful crow you're goin to fly away from here, Beautiful Crow you're goin to fly away from here to the never ever land! To the never ever land
