Story Behind The Song
The BBC in UK ran a documentary profile of the actual events on board some of the planes which were attacked and destroyed by terrorists on September 11. Although the parts were played by actors, they used the reccrded mobile phone calls made from the planes back to their families. There was such helplessness but such profound love expressed. This had provided the inspiration for the song dedicated to the sfamilies who lost their loved ones.
Song Description
Dedicated to those souls who lost their lives aboard the planes above America on September 11. Written to reflect the feelings of an individual talking on his mobile to his love, after realising that he wouldn't see her again.

Lyrics
One Last Flight written and recorded at home by Alan McCulloch
One more time - without you
One last sign - I'll see you
Eleven o'nine - here in the sky
One last flight - without you
One more sight - I miss you
One last light - it goes out fine
It goes out fine
As you are mine
I'll see you there - One day in your own time
Our land's in fright
We'll learn to fight
Do we stand in spite - of all this pain
We have the right
Its black and white
The world's unite - against insane
The words we heard
From souls afraid
No answers to - the madness and absurd
We watched in tears
As the planes disappeared
We felt it near - against us all
The people here
Who share your fear
We'll stand the years - together tall
One more time - without you
One last sign - I'll see you
Eleven o' nine - here in the sky
One last flight - without you
One more sight - I miss you
One last light - it goes out fine
It goes out fine
As you are mine
I'll see you there - One day in your own time
One last flight
