Lyrics
VERSE 1
Dearest fans, gather round
He's left the stage, He's stepping down
The curtain called, it's final bow
But know deep in your soul, his peace was found
VERSE 2
He left this world, in a pool of tears
The King of Rock, and Rhythm and Blues
We'll never forget, the way he moved
To Jailhouse Rock, and on the movies too
... "Here's what he'd say"
CHORUS
Beyond the sunset I live free, these Pearly Gates reminding me
Those neon lights and starstruck fan, are a distant memory from a faraway land
No more pain, and no more sorrow, where peace, love and music are all I need
Just love me tender I'm not lonesome tonight
I got Satnin and Lisa by my side
VERSE 3
Unchained Melody still lingers on
God sped his love, and took his hand
Said come with me Son, your journey's done
It's time to take your place, in the promised land
VERSE 4
His blue suede shoes, will dance no more
But in your hearts, his rhythm still roars
Keep his songs alive, and let them be
His Legacy, of love wild and free
BRIDGE
Don't you remember
the chains of fame binding to break
Masks of Smiles to hide the pain
And the heart that remained, still beating his name
CHORUS 2
Beyond the sunset I live free, these Pearly Gates reminding me
Those neon lights and starstruck fan, are a distant memory from a faraway land
No more pain, and no more sorrow, where peace, love and music are all I need
Just love me tender I'm not lonesome tonight
I've got Satnin and Lisa by my side-------------
