Story Behind The Song
If you've been reading any of my other lyrics, you'll understand I'm not a "feel-good" lyricist, to say the least. And although I AM capable of writing positive stuff, it seems there are a lot of folks doing that already. So, I write my little dramas, and some of the lyrics are very dark, but I put them with these deceptively "pop" melodies and arrangements, and usually about halfway through the song the listener is, like, whoa...what's this about?!!
I suppose its a bit like writting a mystery novel, imagining what these characters are feeling. But for only 4 minutes or so at a time! Most of my stuff is observational, either by observing people I know, or stories or items from the media combined with imagination. And it does take longer to write lyrics like these, but its fun.

We all know you can't MAKE someone love you. But someone gets to the point of obsession, and perhaps they think they can by manipulating events (kill anyone who ever made you cry), etc. This is a story of someone deeply disturbed.
