Story Behind The Song
This is an old song, originally written years ago. When it was accepted into the Noisy Cats catalog, more words were added. Also the intro part was written for this version. Like most Noisy Cats recordings, this has only two members playing all you can hear. Esa Wirta (as Bob Cat) and Marko Virta (as Matt The Cat) are brothers who have played all sorts of music for decades now.
Song Description
The song is capturing the feel of the late 1950's rock'n'roll / rockabilly. Authentic real slap bass and Gretsch guitar is used here to warm up the audience. The text is an encouragement to write and keep on writing no matter what. It's a great talent even if you don't make a living out of it. The guitar solos are tributing Brian Setzer and Eddie Cochran, but still have the original Noisy Cats trademark.

Lyrics
KEEP ON WRITING
words and music: Marko Virta & Esa Wirta
Keep writing your letters
Keep writing those words
Keep sending your letters
These words I only have to know
Keep showing your feelings
Keep showing you still can feel
Keep showing your truth
No matter if it's for bad or good
Keep showing your feelings
Keep showing off your blues
Keep it hidden with your cues
Keep rolling your ball
and all I can only think of
Keep fitting it in your trousers
Keep asking for more
Keep counting all the hours
You've spent on trying not to get caught
Keep timing on your side
Keep counting on weather
Keep stormy clouds in the dark
Keep whishing it better
For the springtime is closer every day
Keep writing your novel
Keep writing up to speed
Keep sending your novel
Not your fault
If it's only the crap that sells
Keep writing your diary
Keep up the good work
Keep writing those writings
