song that starts out to mis-lead a bit, like it's about his girl...and then you realize he's talking to his car... which he probably digs as much as his woman...'Ouch'!
Let's roll on down that road! Ck it out @ 1:48 break (my favorite part).
'Thanks for the Ride'
Words & Music by Mark S. Ludes (MSL) © 2017
featuring Jon Mason lead vocal
Seems like there's never enough time to spend with you.
It's like something's trying to keep us apart.
I feel that all too often, I'm letting you down
And it's really messin' with my heart.
I need to be with you - doin' it as much as I can.
Seems like too much is never enough!
And when I give you enough to get you to go,
You go and run out from using it up.
When we share that time together...it just goes by way too fast!
We roll on down that road - just trying to make it last.
Those feelings that come from what you do, they're so hard, so hard to hide.
I'm sorry if I forget to say, "hey, thank you for the ride, - thanks for the ride".

Great classic rock vibe with a catchy chord progression. Instrumentation and feel reminds me of Cheap Trick. Drums sound solid in the song, balanced well in the mix. Strong guitar solo, fits well with the melody of the song.
At points in the song there is a very interesting ala Elton John vocal. Interesting guitar solo
