Broadjam Member Reviews

Love the prosody present in every note from the get go. The string count in notes set the stage for what is a gorgeously performed and written song. I like the instrumental intro to the bridge. Provides a nice break from what is a strong, strong vocal performance. Lyrics are obviously well crafted and perfected to match the rhythm of the progression

Lyrics

although you choose your words co cautiously
i can see the meaning in your eyes
you planted your seed so carefully
to concieve the love within our lives

oh i,ll always be a rich man
as long as were together
i,ll always be a rich man
as long as i have you

now i found myself a home
in your heart of gold
when all my hope was lost
and all my dreams were sold

oh i,ll always be a rich man
as long as were together
i,ll always be a rich man
as long as i have you

now i dont need to chase no fools gold
there's no satisfaction in the things i own
all that was lost is gained in your eyes
and all i need, all i need, is your love to keep me alive

and i,ll always be a rich man
as long as were together
i,ll always be a rich man
as long as i have you
