Story Behind The Song
One of the scenes in a musical I was collaborating on with my brother, Scott, calls for a minister to describe love to an engaged couple. My sister-in-law, Danielle, suggested I refer to the passage from Corinthians that describes love. She read it aloud and each phrase became part of this song (excuse me, God, for my edits to your words). Don't you just love it when songs write themselves? This song has two versions: "Love Is" and "Wedded Bliss" (which is the title song of the musical).
