Story Behind The Song

The third part of the song is based on my memory of a chant I heard during a Buddhist festival in China. It worked out to like 20 beats for the phrase. Its not exact, but I like this interpretation of it, especially the 'monks' at the end. I know it is rough, but something about this song leaves me peaceful and happy. I hope it works for you as well.

Song Description

Written in 3 parts, a 20 beat phrase, then 3/4 for relief, then back to 20 beats for the conclusion. There is a single constant through the song from first beat to last.
